so I like I said, I had the biopsy last Friday
feel totally fine now
the biopsy results were a little late so we pushed the meeting to Tuesday
all clear :D -- nothing to worry about, thankfully
unfortunately that last PET was still sketchy enough that I still need to keep getting regular PETs until it stops looking weird
my next meeting w/ the Oncologist is 2 months out in late July, and I haven’t scheduled the PET yet but that’ll just be a few days prior
same shit; it’s not over yet, but it’s getting there
cancer’s gotta be one of the least satisfying things to end
like when you get your last chemo, sure it’s a fun celebration, but then you’re gonna have all the same awful side-effects you get after every treatment
but then you have to keep getting test after test after test to keep re-clearing yourself
like it’s just one of those things that REALLY does not end for a long, long time
I’m technically classified as cured when I go five years post-chemo without any cancer
which means this shit isn’t done till September 2029
which is mentally exhausting at the very least
